What they wanted:
PROMINA, a 12+ hospital Integrated Delivery System located in metropolitan Atlanta, partnered with Scottish Rite Children�s Medical Center to obtain a direct urban contract from the Department of Medical Assistance to serve Medicaid recipients.
What we did:
Tracy Kulik facilitated all sessions resulting in merger discussions with target representation to DMA. The project consisted of:
- Actuarial/Finance - determining adequacy of the proposed capitation rate, assessing the financial impact on all provider partners, and preparing a Pro Forma specific to this pilot arrangement.
- Legal/Organizational - defining the contracting entity and relationships among involved partners and drafting the �simplified contract� with the legal assistance
- Implementation - researching the required provider panel with key geographies, preparing related marketing techniques to attract this population and customizing the medical management approach for this high-use group.
