Organization:Maine Cancer Physicians AssociationPortland, Maine Engagement FocusService ProvidedProvided consulting and organizational services to approximately 20 physician practices (approximately 80 physicians) to assist them in forming a new association to help them organize community information and cancer care data, using it to improve their independent practice procedures. This association now is in negotiations with the state's largest tertiary care hospital to form a formal relationship to enhance cancer patient care in the southern Maine area.
